Baby Naming Ceremonies
Nowadays a lot of people do not want the traditional Christening Ceremony at the church, but do feel that they have a need to give their child a celebration of their name.
A name is very important, it makes us unique, it gives us our identity.
Although this type of ceremony has no legal standing, they are a wonderful way of welcoming a child into the family fold.
We do not have God parents, we do however have 'Supporting Adults' who not only promise to give help and guidance to the child, they also promise to be a support to the parents, if they are in need.
You can involve as many family members and friends as you like.
The Parents can also make promises / pledges to each other and their child if required.
It really is your ceremony; we will design and conduct it exactly how you want it.
Have special pieces of music played and verses or poems read out.
Again this type of ceremony can be held anywhere you want.
No licensed property needed.
Baby Naming Ceremonies cannot be used to change a child's name. A copy of the birth certificate will need to be seen before the ceremony.
